i finished mocks, passed them all
i did my TEE, get results back on the 28th december...
AND i went on leavers... what an experience...
for the most part it was gr8!! but almost every night we had some sort of crappy drama...
we got there friday, settled in, relaxed, until we get an sms from one of the guys we were with (no names) which scared us like all hell, he was saying "goodbye", "sorry" and all that sort of thing... we frantically started searching for him, and while doing so another guy went missing, so we were looking for him too...
the first guy ends up sending an sms saying "walking now soon back." so that drama ended, then, after almost 3 hours of searching, the other guy turns up outside our chalet - he had been sitting in the bushes not 10 metres from our chalet, listening to us freak out!!!!!!!
those dramas over, we listened to music for a while and went to bed.
next day was great, we mucked around, met new friends, had a ball. good night too, had a bit of a party.
sunday was another great day, until night.
we went down to the beach to a group of randoms' bonfire, and were joking around with them for a while, then they just started attacking us!! about 15 guys in their group, against 3 in ours - the rest of our group were girls! started with one of them kicking my bf in the nose and fracturing it, then they jumped him, causing one of our other guys to protect him... in the end they tried to drown him, holding him under the water telling him it was his night to die, dislocated his shoulder, stuffed his jaw somehow, almost cut half my bf's ear off with a broken bottle, broke another (female) friend's nose and gave another guy a black eye! i guess it could have been so much worse, but it was so scary!
we spent hours in the emergency room talking to police and getting people patched up, got home at bout 3.30, then went back up to the chalets the next day to sort stuff out with management, and found out the other group had been kicked out! feeling safer we stayed for the rest of our time
monday night we went out to a restaurant and had a good time to keep our minds off the events past...
tues during the day was good, but that night, once again, we had some more dramas, people lying, people depressed, and people missing, but it all got sorted out in the end...
wednesday we went to the beach and had a great time, too cold to swim, but it was great to just relax after all that had happened! when we got back we found fly wire off the windows, windows open, drinks missing... argh! more drama! then after we'd calmed down, one guy got all aggressive for no reason and broke a window, cutting his hand up, down to the bone in some places!! fortunately that was our last night, we went home the next day, he got 14 stitches, and all the dramas of leavers were at an end!
anyway on a nicer note, i found this on some of my friend's journals, i thought it looked like a good idea...
Step 1.
Make a post in your dA journal. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
If you wish for real-life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
Step 2.
Surf around your friends list (or friends friends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:
If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.
You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.
There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.
Step 3.
The List: I wish...
1. for laura to NOT leave the country
2. for will to NOT join the army
3. to go traveling around the world before im 30
4. to keep in touch with all of my best friends, especially the two who are leaving, or have already left the country - laura and katie
5. to be able to go out whenever i want, with whoever i want, without my parents stopping me (eg independence - yakub)
6. mini cooper
7. NEC N342i phone - colour screen, camera, polyphonic ringtones, flip phone
8. a good quality stereo that actually has good speakers!
9. a video camera
10. for at least one of these wishes to come true
ok im done, now tell me yours
and just leave a comment if you think you can help me on ANY of these!!

That's not why people watch TV. Clever things make people feel stupid and unexpected things make them feel scared.
